Nominations for all entries are to be submitted no later than midnight on Wednesday 29 January 2020. We can only accept entries that are submitted using the nomination forms provided.
The judging process will take place from February by an independent panel of industry leaders and experts in their field. This panel will be selected by Lincolnshire Live and Visit Lincoln. An initial sifting panel will whittle down the nominations based on the information provided on your entry form, along with your website, social media, and any third party sites.
Shortlisted businesses will be visited (mystery shopped where possible) by a member of our judging panel. Please note, by nominating your business you agree to waive costs of a site visit, should your business be shortlisted. The mystery visitor will present you with a letter of authorization stating their involvement with the awards after their visit. Please advise your staff that this may happen to avoid confusion. Receipt of your entry is taken as agreement to this requirement.
The chair of the judge’s decision is always final and judges are not required to provide feedback to those who are not shortlisted. Any queries, however, should be directed to the Lincolnshire Live Events Team at the earliest possible stage.
The event will take place on Thursday 12 March 2020 at the DoubleTree by Hilton, Lincoln. Each shortlisted business will receive two complimentary tickets, further details of how to purchase additional seats can be found on the Buy Tickets page.
Eligible winners from the Lincolnshire Tourism Awards 2020 will automatically feed into the VisitEngland Awards for Excellence 2020 for the chance to be recognised as a national winner.
